Roles & Responsibilities

Inbound Operations: Receive and verify stock against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans. Check SKUs, quantities, barcodes, batch numbers, manufacturing/expiry dates, product condition, and temperature. Report discrepancies and ensure same-day GRN completion as per SOP. Stock must not be available for picking before system receipt is completed.
-
Outbound & Dispatch: Supervise order picking, checking, packing, staging, loading, and dispatch. Ensure correct SKU, quantity, batch allocation, documentation, and adherence to dispatch cut-off times. Verify vehicle cleanliness, readiness, pre-cooling, and temperature as per FroGo SOPs. Maintain dispatch photographs, delivery documents, and crate movement records where applicable.

Inventory & Stock Management: Organize stock by SKU, batch, expiry date, and designated rack/bin/location. Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance, batch traceability, proper stock rotation, and near-expiry monitoring. Conduct cycle counts, physical audits, and stock reconciliation. Segregate damaged, expired, returned, quarantined, and non-saleable inventory, and investigate discrepancies.

Cold-Chain & Quality Compliance: Monitor and record cold-room and product temperatures as required. Maintain frozen storage at specified temperatures, typically -18°C or below, as per product requirements and SOPs. Follow cold-chain handling, hygiene, food-safety, PPE, and housekeeping procedures. Immediately escalate temperature deviations, refrigeration failures, power interruptions, and potential product-quality issues.
-
WMS & System Handling: Use FroGo's WMS/ERP for GRN, put-away, stock transfers, picking, dispatch, returns, and authorized stock adjustments. Ensure all physical movements are recorded accurately and promptly. Maintain batch, expiry, barcode, and location accuracy; track pending transactions and prepare daily operational reports using system tools, Excel, or Google Sheets.
-
Manpower & Shift Management: Allocate daily tasks to warehouse associates, pickers, packers, checkers, and loaders. Manage attendance, shift rosters, workload distribution, staffing, and productivity. Conduct shift briefings, train staff on SOPs and safety, and ensure proper handover of pending orders, receipts, discrepancies, and incidents.
-
Communication & Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse management, brand teams, transporters, drivers, and internal operations teams. Provide timely updates on stock availability, inbound receipts, order status, and dispatches. Proactively escalate shortages, delays, system issues, and operational risks. Maintain accurate shift reports, incident logs, and supporting documentation.
-
Returns, Safety & Process Improvement: Manage returns, rejected shipments, and damaged stock with appropriate verification, segregation, and system updates. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safe storage, clear aisles, and equipment safety. Support audits, pest control, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions.
